Holiday Parties

Did you open your calendar and realize December is almost over?! This year flew by and we cannot believe we are almost in 2022. We’ve heard from many clients that they are having a difficult time nailing down a date that works for them, their coworkers, friends and family to host a special holiday party before the end of the year. We have the perfect solution for you (and many of our clients have loved this idea!).

Just like the restaurant and hospitality vendors do, celebrate the holiday season in January! Start the new year off on a high by celebrating a successful 2021 and ‘cheersing’ to a prosperous new year. Chances are your guests’ calendars are pretty open in the new year and who isn’t looking forward to a party?

Food

We wholeheartedly believe food is the most important part of a party! By hosting your event in January, your menu options will be easier to pick from! Parties around the holidays often include a little more pressure to have a “holiday dish”, but when hosting after the holidays, you will be able to pick from any in-season dishes. Still struggling to decide on a menu? Our catering experts will help you select the perfect menu based on your interests, theme or prime-time seasonal menu items. Don’t forget that ROOTS Catering's holiday food and beverage menu will be extending through the end of January!

Schedule

While we wish we could take on every client that inquires with us, it is important to us that we do not overbook our team so we can provide the best quality food and service for your event. Every client we book is extremely important to us and we want to dedicate our time and expertise to perfecting their vision. Not only can it be difficult to find vendors that are all available for your December event, it can be challenging finding a date that works for your friends and family. While we love every day of the holiday season, we understand that most clients would like to host their events on a Friday and Saturday. With that in mind, a party in the new year is the perfect way to find a date that works for everyone! While some guests may enjoy the peace and quiet of January, we know most look forward to celebrating on the weekends!

Pro tip: the best vendors in the business typically work in the wedding industry. With January being a slow nuptial month, your vendors’ calendars will be wide open! You’ll be able to select your dream team to make your event smoother than ever.

Good Vibrations

Sometimes the start of a new year can be a little dreadful as the high of celebrating holidays is beginning to wear off. Social media presents the “new year, new me” mentality and the pressure to start the year off healthy is overwhelming. Why not set the mood for the new year in a way that will be memorable to your closest companions? Let’s remove the stigma of needing to better ourselves and begin the year celebrating the successes that are to come personally and professionally.
